Archie developed his entrepreneurial spirit while attending Old Orchard Beach High School, collecting waste at local campgrounds. What began as a simple side business grew into a successful 40-year career owning a waste and recycling company, along with several other local businesses. He also fulfilled a lifelong passion for racing as a NASCAR team owner for 10 years.
Today, Archie oversees the construction and development of Atwood Landing, ensuring every detail is built to the highest standards. While Tammy leads sales and marketing, Archie focuses on creating a quality community families will enjoy for generations.
For Archie, Atwood Landing is more than a development—it's a way to give back to the town he proudly calls home. Naming the streets after their four grandchildren reflects the family's commitment to creating a lasting legacy built on quality, community and family values.

Tammy's roots in hospitality began at just four years old when her family purchased Wild Acres RV Resort in Old Orchard Beach. Growing up in the business, she spent more than 35 years working in every role, eventually becoming manager and owner, where her hands-on approach and genuine care for guests earned a loyal following.
After selling
Tammy's roots in hospitality began at just four years old when her family purchased Wild Acres RV Resort in Old Orchard Beach. Growing up in the business, she spent more than 35 years working in every role, eventually becoming manager and owner, where her hands-on approach and genuine care for guests earned a loyal following.
After selling Wild Acres, Tammy returned to the hospitality industry by purchasing Abellona Inn & Suites on the Shore with her son, continuing her family's tradition of welcoming visitors to Southern Maine.
Today, Tammy has partnered with longtime friend and Old Orchard Beach High School classmate Archie St. Hilaire to bring Atwood Landing to life. She leads sales and marketing and is on-site to personally welcome guests, answer questions, and help future owners discover everything Atwood Landing has to offer.
