Meet The Owners

As graduates of Old Orchard Beach High School and lifelong residents, Tammy & Archie share deep roots in the community and are surrounded 

by family in the area. 

Atwood Landing began as a simple conversation over lunch—an idea sparked by the shared vision of creating a new kind of seasonal community in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. What started as a discussion about possibility quickly grew into a commitment to design a thoughtfully planned, upscale retreat that blends coastal charm with comfort and community. Today, that original idea is becoming a reality, creating a place people will be proud to call their seasonal home.

  Tammy has hospitality in her roots. Her family purchased Wild Acres RV Resort, OOB, when she was just four years old and she grew up alongside the business, learning firsthand what it means to welcome guests and create memorable experiences. Over the next 35 years, she worked in every role imaginable, eventually managing and owning Wild Acres, where her hands-on approach and genuine care for guests became the foundation of her success.

After selling Wild Acres, Tammy took a short break from the industry, but it didn’t take long for her to realize how much she missed the people, the pace and the purpose of hospitality. Eight years ago, she and her son purchased Abellona Inn & Suites on the Shore in Old Orchard Beach, continuing a family tradition built on hard work, dedication 

and community pride.

Most recently, Tammy stepped away from Abellona Inn & Suites to begin a new chapter with Atwood Landing, partnering with her longtime friend and high school classmate, Archie. 

Tammy will be on site at Atwood Landing, guiding guests through the build-out and sharing the vision she and Archie have for the property every step of the way.
